Vitacost.com, Inc. Engages SSA Executive Search International, Ltd. in Comprehensive Independent Director Search

(NASDAQ: VITC), a leading online retailer and direct marketer of health and wellness products, today announced that its Board of Directors has engaged the independent executive search and consulting firm of SSA Executive Search International to work closely with its Nominating Committee to identify and review the qualifications for several new, independent director candidates. Vitacost.com is seeking to enhance the diversity of its Board to add increased industry experience, corporate governance expertise, M&A and capital markets transactional expertise, and overall public company Board experience. However, no decision has been made at this time as to the future size of the Board.
